KK Short Inserts are ideal for all types of lifting operations. KK Short Inserts are used in applications with limited anchoring depth, such as slabs.
KK Short Inserts are commonly used in thin elements with limited anchoring depth. Therefore, all loads are transferred over the width of the element. Short Inserts are CE-marked according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. KK Short Inserts are available in standard lengths. Inserts with customized lengths for special purposes are available upon request. Peikko’s standard products are always delivered in black (uncoated).
KK Short Inserts are not intended for tilt-up processes, and the load angle is limited to 45°. Diagonal pull between 12.5° and 45° is only permitted with additional reinforcement. The minimum compressive strength of the concrete upon load application is 15 MPa.
Comprehensive product information and detailed information on product characteristics, resistances and required operating conditions are available on product’s Technical Manual.
KK Lifting Keys are used to attach the crane hook, lifting slings or chains to the KK Lifting Insert, which is cast into the concrete element. KK Lifting Keys enable element lifting, turning and tilt-up. KK Lifting Keys can be used with all of the KK Lifting Inserts without limitation.
